Recent legislation being introduced across the United States targeting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) offices, programs, and policies have had profound negative impacts on higher education, K-12 classrooms, and professional society programming. This session brings together DEI leaders within the physics community to share ideas for how APS leadership and volunteers can build strategic partnerships/coalitions and promote equity, diversity, and inclusion in the face of today’s difficult political climate.
